No liaison meeting as 'consultant' prepares Studland management

So what's happening? The promised end-of season liaison meeting never
materialised; adverts are spotted inviting applications for the post of National
Trust Area
Manager, Dorset (a post occupied to the best of our knowledge at that time by Mark
Harold*); we receive a round robin from Julian Homer at Purbeck,
advising us that a management consultant is preparing a new "management plan"
for Studland, and will be in touch with us shortly, since when the silence has
been deafening.
Information just in is that they are advertising for a Beach Manager - we
have not yet discovered the fate of the previous incumbent.
