Letters to SUN

Not confident without SUN

June 2000

From a member who wishes to remain anonymous and enclosed a cheque for £100. In his letter, published in The Bare Essentials Issue 10, he said:

Dear SUN,

Although SUN may never attain the dizzy financial heights of the National Trust, I feel it is essential that the Group remains financially sound to continue to protect members and keep them informed. Since the red post restrictions, I have met with abuse and harassment from wardens. Without SUN Group I would never have felt confident enough to return to Studland.

Anonymous

Our sincere thanks go to this member, and to others who have made voluntary donations. The Board is greatly encouraged by this kind of support and pledges to continue to fight for and to represent all SUN members. Even though we are financially stable, donations are always welcome. Mark Nisbet.
