declared under Section 19 of the National Parks and Access to the
Countryside Act 1949 - major part of site.

way through the woods.

a Sunbathing Hollow
The remains of a gorse
bush burned, deliberately, in a sunbathing hollow. When the fire was
burning well National Trust 'Conservators' threw broken glass bottles
into it in the hope of rendering the hollow uninhabitable. No effort was
