Be Warned... deciding whether to visit Studland on the basis of a forecast can be a very dodgy business!
When the whole south coast is covered in thick black cloud it's probably raining at Studland too, but on days when cloud is patchy or showers are 'likely' Studland can often escape!
Many local people claim that Studland has it's own climate and it's very true that nudists at Studland can be basking in glorious sunshine whilst the people of Swanage, Poole or Bournemouth suffer a downpour.
Take your chances and come prepared... those with small beach tents that sit out a shower or two enjoy many peaceful blissful moments after the unprepared leave and the sun breaks through!
