Dorset Police - silence is consent
Following wide-ranging criticism of the police in TBE8, we
gave Inspector Downer the right of reply. As we go to press we have not heard
from her, so on the well-established principle that silence is consent we assume
that she agrees with everything that was said about police behaviour at
Studland.
Shorn of the trimmings, this means that:
- the police admit they are
National Trust puppets
- that their harassment of nudists is unjustifiable
- that
they are fed up with parroting National Trust policies
- that not only is there a
vendetta against me personally, but they have supported it.
So now we know!
