SUN membership grows as police helicopter films nudists
At the time or writing, our membership has grown to nearly 350, with a
significant surge following the recent filming by a police helicopter of the
entire length of the nudist beach and parts of the heath and dunes on a busy
Friday afternoon during the Whitsun holiday.
It is not unreasonable to say that
we are now a significant representative group, and we have a right to expect to
be treated as such.
The police helicopter incident is one that has raised a
number of disturbing issues, and these are being taken up with the police. We
shall also be raising - and publicising - the use of the police as National
Trust puppets:
we have established that the National Trust make a payment to the police , and we are
currently pressing for details.
