Shell bay is traditionally used by the 'bucket and spade brigade'
who don't want to wander too far from the ferry!

Fish restaurant. On busy days the National Trust tow a mobile shop/ice cream van Shell Bay and sell teas, snacks and ice creams.

Disabled access to Studland Bay - The Nudist Beach

Easiestiaccess:

Short of arriving by the all terrain wheelchair or boat, there is no easy disabled access to the nudist area at Studland. Call 01929 450500 to book the wheelchair. Park at the National Trust Knoll Beach car park and follow the hard damp sand along the shoreline to the nudist area.

Even though the path from Ferry Road to the beach has become firmer over the years it still presents an arduous task, especially the last 200-300 yards of very soft sand. That said strong and determined carers can occasionally be witnessed making the effort - WELL DONE YOU!

Parking:

Knoll Beach car park (details below) or if you want to attempt the footpath, come early and park on Ferry Road as close to FP6 as possible.

Beach access:

There are NO boardwalks in the nudist area

Refreshments:

On busy days the National Trust tow a mobile shop to the nudist beach and sell teas, snacks and ice creams.

Lavatories:

There are no toilets in the nudist area
